Beach Carabinieri now drive Jeep Wranglers

The Italian Carabinieri have now received their new Jeep Wrangler, which will patrol the beaches of the Romagna region from this summer to protect residents and holidaymakers.

Painted in the striking police colors, the Wrangler made its first appearance during a ceremonial handover on the premises of the Carabinieri High Command in Rome.

Once the Wrangler is in service, it will be used to monitor the beaches of the Romagna Riviera, and in particular a 30-kilometer-long beach between Cattolica and Bellaria, including the popular holiday resorts of Rimini and Riccione.
