“The Loh Collection” – how to visit the unique car collection

The spectacular car collection “National Auto Museum The Loh Collection” opens to the public.

The impressive gathering of around 150 vehicles since 1886 – including unique pieces such as Kennedy’s Lincoln Continental, a Bugatti Type 57 Atalante, Michael Schumacher's first world championship Ferrari and the Maybach Exelero - will be opened on July 23, 2023 in Dietzhölztal-Ewersbach.

The museum will also be of great importance for research and teaching and will offer a variety of educational opportunities for schools and universities.

It includes a “history workshop” that sheds light on the industrial history of the Lahn-Dill district and is intended to inspire young people to pursue technical training.

In addition, regular special exhibitions are planned, starting with an event to mark the “100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans” with over 20 original racing cars from 1928 to the present day.

The museum covers an area of ​​7.500 square meters and presents the vehicles in original, historic industrial buildings.

It also includes an extensive collection of engines, cutaway models and technical exhibits.

Museum founder Prof. Dr. Friedhelm Loh cordially invites all interested parties to discover the fascination of wheels and the technology of the vehicles in the new National Auto Museum.
