Castrol lubricates two-wheelers

Castrol has now announced the launch of its new premium oil range called Power1 Ultimate.

The lubricants, which feature an advanced 5-in-1 formula, are designed to optimize engine performance in five key areas: acceleration, wear protection, smooth driving, cooling and durability.

In addition to the new formula, the products were provided with revised labels and new containers.

The updated range includes different viscosities and aims to further improve the performance and protection of motorcycles and scooters.

Acceleration tests revealed the product’s potential: A testMotorrad drove eight meters further with Castrol Power1 Ultimate than a competitive product of the same viscosity (10W-50).

In addition, according to the manufacturer, the product offers better wear protection that significantly exceeds the latest industry specifications.

In extensive tests, including with a Kawasaki 636R engine, Castrol Power1 Ultimate demonstrated smooth and jerk-free clutch activation as well as stable engine performance under extreme conditions.

In parallel, Castrol has also modernised its brand identity to meet changing customer needs. This is also reflected in the new, more sustainable packaging:

The 1-litre containers introduced in Europe use less plastic, while the 5-litre containers also have reduced plastic consumption.

Castrol Power1 high performance lubricants are the preferred choice of leading motorcycle brands such as Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio and Vespa. The product is also recommended by the Aprilia and LCR Honda MotoGP teams.
