Porsche and Mercedes - Celebrity Cars for Sale

When actresses, singers and the like sit behind the wheel themselves, they often drive unique luxury cars.

You can currently find exactly these kinds of vehicles on mobile.de, Germany's largest online car marketplace. Two car brands seem to be particularly popular with celebrities.

Engels 911

Due to a skiing accident, this former “DSDS” starlet is currently on bed rest, but she is usually seen in a good mood in front of the camera – we are talking about singer and actress Sarah Engels.

Until recently, the mother of two could be found behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 Targa. The attractive anniversary model is now for sale on mobile.de for a whopping 79.900 euros.

Grönemeyer's Roadster

"And man is called man because he forgets, because he represses," Herbert Grönemeyer once sang. Whether the German pop legend has forgotten the Porsche 914-6 Roadster remains to be seen.

What is certain, however, is that the blue convertible belonged to him. The stylish classic car from 1969 is currently for sale for €111.900.

Zetsche's Daimler

But even outside the Porsche universe, there is a car brand that has turned the heads of many celebrities: Mercedes-Benz.

Of course, former Daimler AG CEO Dieter Zetsche also acquired a Mercedes-Benz, but is now parting ways with his 300 SLS AMG. The 591 hp silver sports car is available for €275.000.

Aufrechts Benz

Two top Mercedes-Benz models were previously owned by Hans Werner Aufrecht – the founder of Mercedes-AMG GmbH himself.

It was to be expected that the former DTM boss's jewels would be luxury cars, and the price is correspondingly high: the Mercedes 300 SL can currently be snapped up for a whopping 1.754.000 euros.

Significantly cheaper is Aufrecht's Mercedes-Benz 300 SC W 188 II for 890.000 euros, but it already has 7.100 kilometers more on the clock.

Lauda's AMG

The Mercedes-Benz ML 55 AMG of three-time Formula 1 world champion Niki Lauda is much more affordable, with a price of 14.990 euros.

The trained pilot operated the airline Lauda Air in his home country of Austria, to which the SUV was registered. It is quite possible that Lauda drove the off-road vehicle himself, given that it had a mileage of 239.972 kilometers.

In any case, the man with the red cap is said to have handed over the vehicle personally when he parted with it for sale…
