Summer trends for your own four walls

The snow has melted, plants, trees and meadows are blooming again in their most beautiful dress and the warming rays of sunshine are a clear sign: summer is coming soon.

The warm season awakens the desire for a beautiful, clean home and a cozy balcony or terrace for long, warm summer evenings.

Even though the cold season has its advantages, we would now like to simply leave it behind us. This works particularly well with a spring cleaning! Get rid of the dust behind the sofa and under the bed and get rid of the dirt on the windows.

The cleaning should be well planned - for example, you can decide to thoroughly clean a different room every day. It is also best to make a plan in advance of which cleaning utensils you will need. Spring cleaning is particularly easy with household products or gentle cleaning products.

When the apartment shines in new splendour again, it is time for new decoration! Fresh, bright colours are definitely part of this – for example in the form of cuddly cushions for the sofa or the outdoor lounge on the terrace.

If you like, you can simply re-dye your favorite textiles yourself using textile dyes! Another must-have are fresh flowers in a beautiful vase. If you want to enjoy your flowers for longer, you can use potted plants or dried flower bouquets.

You should also think about good sun protection for both inside and outside. During the day, thermal curtains or pleated blinds protect the inside of the apartment from overheating, while outside, parasols, awnings, etc. ensure worry-free hours.

In the evening, you can make yourself comfortable on the terrace, in the garden, or on the balcony. Lighting in the form of lanterns or modern lighting systems creates an atmospheric ambiance, especially at dusk.
