Like last year, LB Films will once again be holding the legendary kickoff event to start the international film festival. The event will take place on the evening of February 13, 2016 at the Sofitel am Gendarmenmarkt.

LB-Films, based in Stuttgart, is one of Germany's leading 3D film production companies. In addition to numerous music videos, the company produces feature films, commercials, corporate videos, and 3D nature documentaries in collaboration with NBC Universal.

Large premiere and press events are also held on selected occasions.

To the event

The LB Films party has a long tradition and is now a permanent fixture in the calendars of many international and national stars, starlets and filmmakers.

You will be invited to a 5***** hotel, where you can celebrate until the early hours of the morning in an exclusive atmosphere with delicious drinks, catering and good music. Guests include not only big names from the worlds of fashion and business, but also German celebrities from the film and music scene.

In recent years, stars such as 50 Cent, Julia Dietze, Moritz Bleibtreu, Gina-Lisa Lohfink, Wotan Wilke Möhring, Christine Neubauer, Matthias Schweighöfer, Mathis Landwehr, Ralf Richter, Claude-Oliver Rudolph, Mark Keller, Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht and many more have accepted the invitation.

After walking down the red carpet, they meet for the subsequent meet-and-greet to exchange ideas with the other prominent guests; in addition to celebrating, networking is an important part of the events.

After the mega-events of the early years, this year's event, like last year's, will have a significantly more exclusive character with approximately 800 invited guests.

It is not for nothing that the LB Films Party was voted among the “Top 3” after-show events during the film festival last year.

In addition to the usual celebrities from film and television, there are three highlights this year:

1. “Clash Of The Gender Titans”: Alongside the reigning boxing world champion Artur Abraham, boxing world champion Christina Hammer will walk the red carpet. Who will make the bigger impression?

2. For the first time ever, a 360° 3D camera walk-around act will be featured on the red carpet. This will broadcast images (not only of the celebrities, but also of you, dear photographers) to the entire world. It is the first time such a system has been used in Germany.

3. Partner Universal will provide a special guest. Stay tuned!
